This painting is a study for a larger painting called The Crossing. It is inspired by the Dartford Crossing in Kent. An abstract painting inspired by the River Thames and The Dartford Crossing, using the golden section as a starting point this painting hints at multiple crossings including the imagery crossing from representational to abstract and the paint from neon to natural.
