This painting was inspired by my year long residency at Rydal Mount, home to William Wordsworth from 1813 to his death in 1850. It is a mixed media piece and uses colours and shapes taken from memory from the house and gardens. It is an expressive piece, echoing the themes and sentiments found in Wordsworth's poetry
