The Garden in the Lakes

This painting is inspired by the communal Fitz Park garden in Keswick, Cumbria. The garden is nestled within the Cumbrian fells and sits alongside the river Derwent, that flows along its path. This painting is part of my Garden series for 2022 where each week I visit a garden in the UK or Northern France to seek inspiration for my large abstract paintings.
