This painting is based on visits to The Botanical Gardens and the Princes Street Gardens, both in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is part of my 2022 Garden series, where I visit a garden each week in 2022 to seek inspiration for large abstract works. My weekly video vlogs feature the garden and the inspiration for some of the colours and shapes within it.
